Attendance

Children do best when they consistently attend the same class.

If your child is unhappy and does not want to participate in the lesson, please let us know. We want to work with you and your child. Most times we can make a child feel comfortable about the lessons if we show respect for their feelings, patience, and understanding. We have also found that if we show the children our confidence then they usually rise to the occasion. We are not afraid of tears and fears. It is often a part of learning something new.

You can help your child by showing your confidence in us and the program. Try to take some time to enjoy the water with your child outside of the lessons.

Rescheduling Lessons

There are no makeup lessons for swimmer absences.

Rescheduling a Private Swimming Lesson: At least 24 hours notice in advance is required. However, this notice does not exempt the swimmer from payment for the time reserved for the lesson. The instructor may schedule a makeup lesson in lieu of the lesson missed before the end of the swim session. Although we will do our best to accommodate you, make up lessons are subject to the swim schedule times available and there is no guarantee that a makeup lesson will be available and booked.

The instructor may schedule a makeup lesson in lieu of the lesson missed before the end of the swim session. Although we will do our best to accommodate you, make up lessons are subject to the swim schedule times available and there is no guarantee that a makeup lesson will be available and booked.

Rescheduling a Premium Swimming Lesson: There are no make-up lessons for swimmers registered in premium lessons.

Refunds

A request to withdraw from swimming lessons needs to be submitted by email before the third lesson of the swim session. If a refund is requested by this date, the swimmer would be charged for the number of lessons attended prior to withdrawing and a $25.00 administration fee. No refunds are issued if the request to withdraw from lessons is made after the third lesson.

Payment Policy

Swimming lesson prices are subject to change and do not include taxes and pool admission costs. Please visit the city of Winnipeg’s website for pool prices.

The full amount for swimming lessons is due by the start of the first swim class, and to reserve a spot a deposit of 25% is required up to a week before the beginning of the swimming lessons.

Payment plans are available and for more information please contact us.  

There is a $25 fee that will be charged for returned cheques.
